[Effective January 18, 2027] Notice of Temporary Closure Due to Mandatory Electrical Facilities Inspection
Thank you very much for your continued patronage of Cross Hotel Kyoto.
Cross Hotel Kyoto will conduct a full-hotel power outage on the dates listed below to perform regular inspections Facilities hotel’s electrical Facilities in accordance with safety regulations.
Temporary Closure Dates and Times: Monday, January 18, 2027, 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM
*Due to the hotel-wide power outage, guests will not be able to enter the hotel during the above hours.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Request Regarding the Use of Portable Power Banks
Thank you very much for your continued patronage of Cross Hotel Kyoto.
Recently, there have been reports of incidents involving smoke and fire caused by portable power banks both in Japan and abroad.
To ensure that all guests can enjoy a safe and secure stay at our facility, we ask that you observe the following guidelines regarding the use of portable power banks in guest rooms.
・ Please refrain from charging power banks when you are away from your room (e.g., when going out) or while you are asleep.
・ When charging portable electronic devices from a power bank or charging the power bank using an outlet in your room, please avoid placing it in areas exposed to direct sunlight, such as near windows, or near flammable items such as beds or sofas.
・ While charging, please keep the power bank in a location where you can monitor its status at all times to prevent any potential issues.
・ Please do not use a power bank that shows signs of damage, swelling, or abnormal heat generation.
Additionally, if any of the above conditions are observed during room cleaning for guests staying multiple nights, our staff may relocate the power bank for safety reasons. We appreciate your understanding in advance.
